The kids feeding some ducks - one more sign that winter is gone for now.
Well, it has been awhile since I posted anything, but what can you do? Sometimes life just gets so busy that all important things like blogs get pushed to the wayside. Winter is long gone, and spring is on the way out. School is done. I have a Master's degree and a teaching certificate. No job yet, but... eventually... right? Something will work out. Worst case scenario I try to do some subbing, and hope that turns into something more permanent.
I have been messing with a progression (one that has been knocking around for awhile now in a new and improved form), but haven't worked it up into the masterpiece I am sure it will one day be. Too many distractions. It's all so confusing and odd. Where do I focus? On job searching? Of course, but there are only so many jobs to apply for. From what I can tell, there are actually nowhere near as many jobs this year as in years past.
On a positive note, my GPA for the MAT program was 3.9. I am happy with that. One grade was a bit low because of a hard-nosed instructor who talked a lot about being flexible, but refused to model it, but... those were the rules, so I can't really argue about it. Anyway, summer is almost here (17 days) and the weather is perfect. I'm off to enjoy what little bit of spring we get in Oakley.
